I've been bond to guitar strings
intense wordplay and hard tones
the sun's smoldering heat
lonely walks
air humidity and silent winds
the axe steeping into cylinder vessels
only allowing waves of comfort
while mind controlling a rage
those tilts of prudence
resetting controls of games
reasoning the taboo
of strokes
making withdrawals and releasing
subtlety
then rocking in the screeching tones
that track the waves you left
and handcuffed in lines of string
you played me
up-tempo and slow love ballads
you rocked the guitar into waves
of darkness
they bind me to themes
and leave me deaf from volumes
that ruptured my ear drums
yet satisfied
you continued to play me
from a distance
