Decisions was made
While my body lay stiff
Cut the waves
My body reflect symptoms
Of a baby that wouldn’t take
A mystery to figure
If it was me
Creating the insignificant
Space
Between reality and
A shamed lie
Doing whatever it takes
Speaking softly to reach
The gates
Only heard when I become
A deranged and unfamiliar
Escape
Losing capabilities
While disrespectful infestations trembled
And lay comfortably
At the address labeled
as my home
Yet I couldn’t get pass
Security
Camping on the sidewalk
Crumbs trickling
From stone and bobwire
Unions And alone
Tabloids exposing the fact
That I’ve been planning life
With such a stranger
That danced on marble floors
